There are blessings to be found in all of life’s trials. At times we have to look very hard to find them but they are there to be found. I hate being sick but for the last 2 weeks I have been very sick with the exception of last weekend. So where is the blessing? Sometimes the blessings are obvious and sometimes they are not. Since I have been sick my normal routines have been interrupted. As a result my schedule has been altered. Who knows, perhaps because my schedule is altered I could have been spared from a serious or even fatal injury. Perhaps I just got sick, or the Lord knew I needed rest.
During Obadiah’s day everyone it seemed was wicked much like our world today. But even then after all the warnings that God gave He let them know some were faithful and that they would be spared from the judgment of the wicked. Yes we may be sick of this world but we have hope in the soon coming redeemer Jesus Christ.
Let’s look at Obadiah 1:17
Oba 1:17  But in Mount Zion some will be kept safe, and it will be holy; and the children of Jacob will take their heritage.
Yes God does take care of His faithful, they will be “kept safe” Praise the Lord.
