Often we are at a loss as to what to say to someone who may have questions concerning their salvation. We are so afraid of saying the wrong thing that we often say nothing.
We need to always remember that it is Jesus Christ Himself that gives us the words to say to those precious souls.

All we need to do is draw close unto Him so He can dwell within us.                       

How do we draw close to Him? We are to put God above all things.
Above our music, yes even Christian music needs to be looked at closely.
Above what we read, yes even our spiritual books need to be looked at closely.
Above what we watch on TV, yes even spiritual movies need to be looked at closely.
Above what we talk about, yes even our religious conversations need to be looked at closely.
All that we do and say should draw us closer to Christ.
Imagine this, Christ is next to you at all times observing everything that you do and say. Are you comfortable with that? If your answer is yes then you are continually drawing closer to Christ.
Matthew says it well;
Mat 10:18  And you will come before rulers and kings because of me, for a witness to them and the Gentiles.           
Mat 10:19  But when you are given up into their hands, do not be troubled about what to say or how to say it: for in that hour what you are to say will be given to you;  

Mat 10:20  Because it is not you who say the words, but the Spirit of your Father in you.
