After a long week away from home I was now finally on my way home. I remember it was a very cold rainy day the wind was blowing fiercely and the rain was pouring down like a cloud had just burst.More...
That’s when it happened. As I was driving north bound on Interstate 5 thru this horrible storm, suddenly I saw something flying in the air it was a small piece of paper. I remember thinking how strange that a small piece of paper could be floating thru the air amid all this pouring rain.
And then it happened the small piece of paper stuck onto my windshield. That’s when I seen that it was a $100.00 bill. Wow!!! Then my wiper hit it and whoosh it was gone.
Wow!!! What just happened a $100.00 bill! I needed to stop but there was nowhere to stop besides the rain was coming down too hard and the wind was blowing worse than ever. But I couldn’t let this opportunity go, after all it was a $100.00 bill. I had to wait for the next exit which seemed like forever to come. There’s the exit, finally, I then took the off ramp and doubled back as I got to the area where I had seen this $100.00 bill. I realized that it had to be on the North bound side because of the wind.

I looked for the next exit, finally there it was, soon I was near were I had seen this fortune come to me. I pulled over and grabbed my coat and excitedly went outside to find this $100.00 bill. Now, did I mention it was pouring down rain in buckets and the wind was blowing like a hurricane? Oh and my coat wasn’t waterproof, but I didn’t care, because somewhere out there is my $100.00 bill.

I spent well over an hour looking for my $100.00 bill. Only to find a very bad cold. I was now soaked from head to toe. My shoes went squish, squish, squish every time I took a step. I was so very cold and my vehicle was way down the road.

Finally I am back at my vehicle. Cold, wet, hungry and now very late. Did I mention  there was no $100.00 bill to be found.
We are to be even more exited about Jesus Christ, our redeemer who has spent much more than $100.00 to redeem us from our sins. He paid with His Life. Yes He even took our beating for us. All we need too accept this gift is to ask Him into our heart.

Now let us all proudly share the good news with the world around us. As Paul says;
Rom 1:16  For I have no feeling of shame about the good news, because it  is the power of God giving salvation to everyone who has faith, to the Jew first, and then to the Greek.
Rom 1:17  For in it there is the revelation of the righteousness of God from faith to faith: as it is said in the holy Writings, The man who does righteousness will be living by his faith.
Blessings
Tony
