Not only are we in a war, we are in the middle of the battle field. There are weapons being wielded everywhere. People are losing their lives all around us. There is no where to hide. We are shielded by Christ He protects us at all costs, yes even His very life.
But we have the free will to walk away from the protection that Christ has paid so dearly for. We can live a full life with Christ completely  fulfilled in every detail.
Satan However is always throwing up the past to us, telling us we can’t belong to Christ because of our past.
Praise the Lord!!! God and God alone is our judge. Let’s look at Jude 1:9
 Now when Michael, one of the chief angels, was fighting against the Evil One for the body of Moses, fearing to make use of violent words against him, he only said, May the Lord be your judge.
Lets us claim Christ in every aspect of our lives.
