Our only true friend
When we are very young we at one point move our relationships from close family to “friends” we tend to trust our friends with very intimate details of our life at a very young age.As we continue to grow physically we expand our relationships and the level of trust we will use. Often times we may find ourselves betrayed by someone whom we trusted.
Satan is always looking for ways to create in us a distrust in others. He wants us to build a wall around ourselves so no one can reach us. Satan always has a counterfeit for all of God’s blessings.
We can trust in the Lord, He will never leave us or forsake us. His whole focus is on saving us from ourselves.
Satan will cause our friends to say things against us which causes us heart ache. And we in turn will often do the same to our friends. To be Christ like is to do as Christ would do. Remember only thru Christ can we be saved.
When we speak against others, we are claiming Satan as our god.
When we lift each other up to the Lord in Intercessory Prayer we have claimed our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as our God. We are exhibiting His character to the world around us.
We are to step out in Faith knowing that God is always with us.
Mic 7:5 Put no faith in a friend, do not let your hope be placed in a relation: keep watch on the doors of your mouth against her who is resting on your breast.
Mic 7:6 For the son puts shame on his father, the daughter goes against her mother and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s haters are those of his family.
Mic 7:7 But as for me, I am looking to the Lord; I am waiting for the God of my salvation: the ears of my God will be open to me.
Blessings
