Who are you choosing to walk with?

We often have struggles in our spiritual life, if we would stop and consider the choices we make every day we would see that we choose God far less than we do the world.
Yes the world has it’s attractions but they come at a cost. Everything cost. Nothing is for free,  no not even Grace for you see it cost Jesus His life. When we choose to follow our desires and become engaged in activities that weigh heavily on our conscience we are choosing to be separated from God. Then later in the days that lie ahead we find that our life has more temptations than usual. This is because Satan has set the trap and was watching to see if we would succumb to His devices. When we fall he knows we are now weakened by our sin, we have separated ourselves from God.
It is of very little wonder that we are attacked because he knows we most likely will follow his path. This path leads to destruction.
Now on the other hand  when we choose God to be in our lives and in our every thoughts we will be like this Psalm:
Psa 1:1  Happy is the man who does not go in the company of sinners, or take his place in the way of evil-doers, or in the seat of those who do not give honour to the Lord.
Psa 1:2  But whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and whose mind is on his law day and night.
Psa 1:3  He will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, which gives its fruit at the right time, whose leaves will ever be green; and he will do well in all his undertakings.
God is our source of power to overcome Satan and all his attacks. We must draw nearer to God or else we parish. But when we draw close to God we see victories in our life.
Blessings
Tony
