Hey Everyone!

April 17-19, 2009 is the date for the Spring Young Adult Retreat.  This year, we will have Matt Parra, from ARISE as our guest speaker and the weekend will include a combo of lectures, networking, testimonies, and nature hikes.

The theme is “Looking unto Jesus”, which reminds us to look to Jesus for all things. If you’re searching for spiritual rejuvenation,  a bit of rest, or a break from the ordinary,  this weekend is for you. This will be an amazing time to encourage each other spiritually; we all need each other and this is a great opportunity to do this. I look forward to seeing you all soon!

Snow Retreat

Come join us at Beautiful South Lake Tahoe. Lodging and Sabbath Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner meals are provided this is my gift for you. You just pay for your activities.

Sabbath School, Worship and Vespers is Presented by Gabriel Contreras.
We will all be blessed as Christ works through him.

Activities Include: (All business is before or after Sabbath)

Sabbath

Snowshoeing above the scenic Emerald Bay Cost $10 for rental. Bring your camera. I was told this is one of the 10 most photographed places in the world.

Sunday

1st Choice - Ski/Snowboarding at Sierra at Tahoe Cost:

Lift tickets $40 for 20-22yrs & $49 for 23 and older.

Please click on Equipment and lesson packages for these prices.

2nd choice- Snowshoeing/Sledding at beautiful Echo Lake. Cost $10 for rental.

Then we will all meet up at 4:15pm at Sierra at Tahoe and then say our farewells.

Ages are 20’s-30’s except Leaders. Bring your Bible, sleeping bags, pillows,toiletries, towel, camera and sunscreen.

Ladies get all the Bedrooms but will still need to have sleeping bags for some.

Transportation is available. Limited so rsvp asap. Directions available upon request.

Sabbath in the Park

Every 2nd Sabbath at the Cuesta Park in Mountainview, CA. Bring a dish to share if you can if not still come there is always plenty to share. Come and join us this Sabbath May 12th for fantastic fellowship.
